Japanese product designer, Kodai Iwamoto has designed TRESTLE LEG for  'dear sir/madam', a furniture brand focusing on online sales. Iwamoto created a simple shape by combining three pieces of plywood. It was made of 'Tamo' Japanese ash laminated plywood. The designer also said they chose 'Tamo' Japanese ash as the surface material because of its beautiful matte texture when painted in a darker colour like black.

'dear sir/madam' is a furniture brand founded in 2019 that specializes in online sales, and they offer furniture that can be self-built easily and flat-packed.
